Starry Waltz - Good Witch of the West
To the Beginning - Fate/Zero
Braveshine - Fate/Stay Unlimited Bladeworks
Paralell Hearts - Pandora Hearts
True Light - DN Angel
Colors - Code Geass
World End - Code Geass

I'm also complete and utter trash and unashamedly absolutely adore both openings of Attack on Titan so much. Especially Jiyuu no Tsubasa. That is hands down my jam and I can't stop listening to it.

hands down, my favorite is invoke from gundam seed! the animation is gorgeous and the song is so upbeat and captivating. That's actually the reason I started watching it. I also really like the snk openings - the messages are very deep and a lot of thought was put into the cinematography. The akatsuki no yona ones are lovely! especially the first one with no words but the pictures did a great job ! donten ni warau openings are nice because they change the images after each episode. didn't really lvoe tokyo ghoul's at first but it grew on me!! :3

Noragami/Noragami Aragoto's openings, Tokyo Ghoul's opening, Durarara's opening.
Mirai Nikki's first opening was absolutely gorgeous as well (though now I can't listen to it without thinking "tea biscuits biscuits f--- this tea!")

Always Ghost in the Shell SAC 1st Gig's "Inner Universe" by Origa. I haven't found anything so inherently tied to the themes of the anime, and the characters, than this opening. Anyway, anything by Yoko Kanno is usually dang awesome.

Other notable OPs I remember are the original Durarara's first one, Darker than Black's first opening, and of course, Naruto openings, because childhood and nostalgia and all of them - the earliest - really were good.

p.s. can't believe I forgot to add the openings of the first FMA series (with that ending I like to pretend never happened) because those four were really good, and again, childhood and nostalgia, haha

Saiunkoku Monogatari has a wonderful opening.. I also loved that series.
Ookiku Furikabutte also!

But I think it's hard since I get so attached to the opening based on whether or not I like the series :)

There's usually a few OPs every season that catch my eye, but I think my ultimate hype-up OP will always be Busou Renkin's "Makka na Chikai"

AnY's opening feels like a game intro and it makes me hyped every time.

Guilty Crown's opening is still the best for me, though!

The intro for Waiting in the Summer is definitely my most favorite one of all. for the art and for the type. i love that the japanese characters are set in a vertical line to mimic film strips. beautiful!

I really liked the Full Metal Alchemist opening "Again" by Yui. That's probably my ultimate favorite but for some reason "Asterisk", a Bleach opening, always plays in my head lol

I enjoy all of Soul Eater, Inuyasha, Naruto, and Full Metal Alchemist songs. Apparently my anime tastes are mostly shounen but manga tastes are mostly shoujo :)

"Again" from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is so, so good.
"Shell" from Witch Hunter Robin will always be one of my top favorites.
And then "Duvet" from Serial Experiments Lain.
Kids on the Slope has such a wonderful opening. "Melody on the Slope," I think it's called? Or "Sakamichi no Melody" from Sakamichi no Apollon. :3 It is one of the best opening sequences of any anime, in my honest opinion. The editing is flawless and the music is so light and gorgeous, and it definitely prefaces the actual show so, SOOO well. It's one of the only times where I've binged an anime and didn't skip through the opening a single time--I always let it play, lol.
Omg, all of The Slayers openings/song sequences are just too wonderful. So nostalgic, I just fucking can't even handle it. "Get Along" and "Give a Reason" and "Breeze."
Sorcerous Stabber Orphen always had some pretty entertaining opening/ending sequences. Especially season 2.
And then One Punch Man, of course, has its super excellent opening, hahaha. c:
The opening sequence for Saiyuki Gaiden, "Sakura no ki Shita" is so super, super pretty.
Inuyasha openings always got me, too, haha. c:
I love so many, gahhh.

Totally forgot to mention the opening for Martian Successor Nadesico.
This thread is giving me so much nostalgia, lol. I just keep looking at my old favorite anime openings/endings. It's been so looooong.

AnY OP1. I love that's it's entirely instrumental and perfectly captures the sense of epicness, mythology, adventure, romance, heartbreak... I want it to be my ringtone! (Might be out of place in my day to day life, alas.)

Fairy Tail OP21 - "Believe in Myself." It made me tear up every time!

Fairy Tail OP15 - "Masayume Chasing." This was hands-down the best FT opening until the Tartaros arc. I listen to it on my drive to work sometimes.

It looks like this thread was recently necro-bumped, so I hope I'm not going to anger any mods by posting here, but I personally really enjoy FMA brotherhood's first opening (again by Yui). I still listen to it 6 years after I first downloaded it!
There's something incredibly eerie about being literally the only person online on a forum. Even worse when you're trying to find reasons to *post* on said forum, because you feel like you're going to somehow get in trouble for spamming despite the fact that you're always posting on topic, just alone.
