I share the sentiments about her humanity being a part of her character and strength. The fact that she can be so strong and stand alongside supernatural creatures as an equal despite being human is one of the most admirable parts of her character and something she has worked hard for. The struggle to become someone strong is a big part of her character development. Giving her a superpower will trample on that and might also make her harder to relate to.
So no, I don't think she should have any superpowers. It takes away more than it gives.
If she must have a superpower, the important thing in that case would be the "how" and "what". How it was portrayed and what type of ability. Her turning into Godzilla would not be very suitable but perhaps manifesting her aura, which stems from her feelings, would be better. Angry Yona would be able enhance her arrows with a fiery aura while protective Yona would be able to create shields or something. I don't know. Overall it would simply be better without.

I would like her to have a special power in the end. I would love to see her save her dragons for once.

depends on what kind of superpower that sensei will give to Yona, I suppose. But still.. Yona is fine as her is
( YOU CAN'T BEAR WITH THAT FIERCING LOOK FROM HER EYES~)
You found me annoying? uh, maybe you're true. But I don't like being unhonest person

To give Yona powers or abilities is to ruin the essence of her character

No. I love her as she is now. Struggling like any human being and doing her best. That's who she is right now.

I definitely don't think she should have a special power. Hiryuu was a dragon who became a normal human, no powers. Therefore, I think she should remain human as he was. Building up her strength as a person and being someone who can influence the country I think is more than special enough!

I really don't think so. I think the whole point of Yona's character development is her growing stronger as a human being, going from the spoiled princess to badass warrior from her determination to be a better person to protect those she loves. Gaining a special power would kinda ruin that development. Honestly if Yona does have a super power, it would be her stubbornness and perseverance (just look at the fire in her eyes that stuns people with her willpower!)

I dont want Yona to have powers. It will ruin her developments.

no not really , I think she's okay with what she has now
if she had a special power the power of the others will be of no need very much

I think her power is her presence..and the authority she commands along with the respect..i think her ability with a bow..and maybe a sword if she gets one is plenty..i dont want her to have any other supernatural ability.

I agree with you, i'd like to see yona master her ability xD
I want to see her getting cooler in a human being way.. but i also have to say that i love the "supernatural" glance that she gives, it's kinda magic! xD
What do you think?

i think the glance she gives is part of her presence i referred to..it works even on non dragons..but it obviously didnt awaken until after she left the palace...so i'm not sure if its just her natural..strength or part of the red dragon reincarnation power

I mean. I don't think she should have a special power. But being able to fight side by side with the dragons would be great. I just don't want her to be oh so powerful where no one can hurt her and stuff. I think if she trains hard enough it'll be good. Being able to basically make people freeze with her stare I think is a power already XD

I appreciate the fact that she wasn't given a super power, so no, Yona shouldn't have one. She has the others, and she herself is growing stronger. Its nice seeing how she struggles and grows. Though, if she was given one, I wouldn't drop the series. I'm too invested emotionally in the plot to just leave it hanging

I think it would ruin her character because she's suppose to be that weak to strong character and we love that about her.

Nope! Never! One of the reasons I love this manga so much is because I get to see Yona's character development. She was this naive weak princess in the beginning and than slowly she becomes stronger and smarter and a bit more sturdier. One of my favorite Yona moments was when she was climbing at the edge of cliff to pick the medicinal plant "senjusou." She was completely shaking from head to toe with fear but she continued on because she knew she had to. Those moments of human triumph that none of the dragons or Hak can show is one of the reasons I like this manga so much. So no I do not want Yona to gain special powers lol

Though I love it when people have superpowers or gain powers they didn't know they had, I believe that Yona's power comes from a similar power to Lord Hiryuu. Leadership. (In terms of love and empathy for the country and its people.) It would make a beautiful circular storyline if Yona became the red dragon and the dragon blood left the current four dragons. (It would also solve the problem of the dragons dying young and Zeno living forever alone)

She doesn't need any special powers. she's fine the way she is.

I don't think she needs a special power. She's got the four dragons to support her (and Hak and others too). And she's already special, in her own way. She has that amazing ability to reach out and connect with others, empathize with them, and help them, and she sort of has a power over the dragons (in the way that they're connected). In a way, she's a contrast to the power of the dragons, and I think it needs that balance.

Usually I am for stuff like that, but in this case I really don't think she needs them. She has already become awesome without them, and the HHB is pretty much unbeatable already. But if she did get a special power, I wouldn't drop the series. I'm far too emotionally invested for that.

being normal is what makes her amazing and courageous so I don't think I want her to have a special ability or something. She's beautiful the way she is.

no no no ! I love her like that, without any power or anything ..
